Weddings and Wedding ReceptionsThe Monastery Chapel offers a unique and intimate setting for your wedding. Forming part of the church still used by the monks that live at the Mirfield Monastery, the newly refurbished romanesque Chapel offers seating for 120 guests to witness you tie the knot. The wedding service is conducted by the local Vicar from Christ the King church next door. You will need to talk to the Vicar well in advance to discuss the options open to you. We are delighted to offer the Great Hall at Mirfield for wedding celebrations up to 110 guests. Situated just a few minutes off the M62, in the peaceful village of Mirfield, the venue provides a stunning backdrop for photographs and drinks receptions before moving into the Great Hall for your wedding breakfast. We pride ourselves on making every wedding reception we run special. We will focus on getting every little detail right. We don't have "sales people", everyone you meet and discuss your wedding reception with will actually be with you on the day to ensure it's a day that you and your guests will be talking about for years to come. A professional pianist is also available for hire, again through liaison with the General Manager.
